FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Below are the most common questions that I am asked and my response to each:

1. What is telepathy? Telepathy is the acquiring of information from another through their thoughts and feelings by paranormal means. Just as some are born with various natural talents - the ability to sing or excel at a particular sport - similarly some people are born with a natural ability to communicate telepathically. All humans are born with this inherent talent, but we do not always encourage its development. The word telepathy is a blend of two Greek words: 'tele' meaning 'distant' and 'patheia' meaning 'feeling'.

2. What are the different forms of telepathy? The first is transmission of feelings, which is the most common form even among animals. The second is transmission of emotions and images, which is the most common form among humans. The third and final form of telepathy is transmission of words, which is the most difficult and requires training.

3. Why do pets run away? In addition to the obvious reasons (i.e. something frightened them, neglect or abuse, they are in heat and/or they have an overwhelming desire to go out and explore their surroundings), there is also a not-so-obvious reason that I have found. Like us, animals come into this realm of existence with a mission. Some refer to this as your life's path. Not all animals have more than one mission, but some do. So, some animals, therefore, have been known to leave because their life's mission may be taking them in another direction.

4. What happens when an animal passes away? Their soul separates from their physical body and makes its transition to the Other Side where they are met by loved ones and other animals that they knew while they were alive. During their time on the other side, they undergo a regeneration process that restores their life energy.

5. Do animals have a concept of time? Yes. In fact, I recommend that if you are leaving the house, tell your pets where you are going and when you will be back. For example, when I know that I'll be leaving the house, I tell our pets that I'm going to run an errand and that I'll be back in a certain number of hours. Or, if I'll be traveling, I tell them that I'll be gone 'x' number of days on a trip. In my experience, I have found that this makes them feel less stressed because they are informed about what is going on. If you think about it, we communicate this same type of information out of courtesy to the humans in our lives.

6. Do animals like routines? Yes. Animals, like most humans, enjoy the 'knowing' associated with a daily routine. They like to know when they are going to be fed. They like to know when you are leaving and when you will return. They like to know that a certain kind of treat will come at a certain time of day. My pets get up around the same time of day, get fed around the same time in the evening, receive their treats at about the same time of day and night and go to bed about the same time at night. This is not to say that they are on a rigid schedule. But, it helps them to know what is coming next or to let us know that, 'Hey, it's time for us to eat our dinner'.

7. Do animals have feelings and emotions? Yes. They have the ability to experience a wide spectrum of feelings and emotions. For example, if they are part of a multi-pet household and one pet passes away, they can go into a period of mourning. Or, when you get home from work or a trip, they exhibit excitement that you are back home with a sometimes over-the-top 'welcome home' greeting. If they know that they are going to a place that they don't particularly like to go (i.e. the vets office), they can exhibit anxiety.

8. Can you talk to animals after they are deceased? Yes, although it can be more difficult depending on the stage of regeneration they are in. This process can take days, weeks, months or longer based on our concept of time.

9. Do animals have souls? Yes. They are sentient beings just like we are. They have minds, hearts and souls.

10. Can you talk to any animal (i.e. insects, mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, etc.)? Yes. All species of animals have the ability to communicate telepathically. However, the method that they choose to communicate the information may be in the form of images, words or feelings. But, this is true of animals within the same species as well. For example, a cat that is lost may show me their surroundings in an effort to help me locate them. Whereas, another cat may provide this information in the way of words.

11. Can you communicate with lost animals and locate them? Yes. However, it is imperative that contact with an animal that has wandered off be made as soon as possible in order to locate them. The longer they are away, the harder it is to locate them. This is due in part to their own survival instincts. As days pass, they start to become more concerned about food and shelter if they are lost. In addition, if they have become injured, they go into what is called a protective state to allow the body to heal. I use a combination of map dowsing and animal communication to locate lost animals.

12. Why is a picture of the animal necessary in order for you to communicate with them? You may have heard the expression that the eyes are the windows to the soul. If so, then this will give you some idea of why it is easier for me to establish a connection with the animal while looking at their picture.

13. What else can an animal communicator be called? The names that often come up when referring to an animal communicator include 'animal intuitive', 'horse whisperer', 'dog whisperer', or 'animal whisperer'.
